Where to find it

Settings → Passcode & Face ID

How to do it

  1. Open the main Settings screen from the sliders icon at the top of Home.
  2. Tap Passcode & Face ID. If biometric protection is enabled, complete the biometric prompt.
  3. If biometrics are disabled or the flow offers a passcode fallback, enter your current app passcode.
  4. After authentication, review or change passcode protection, biometrics, Require Passcode timing or App Switcher Privacy.
  5. If you cancel authentication, return to Settings and start again when ready.

Unlocking the app and entering its security settings are separate checks. Returning after the app locks can require authentication again.

If app passcode protection is disabled, there is no existing app passcode to enter. You can access the screen to set one, then confirm the new six-digit code.

When you finish enabling a new passcode, Oath attempts biometric setup when available. Turning on Face ID itself uses the biometric prompt rather than another current-passcode entry inside that enable flow.
