How to do it

  1. Return to Home with the Wallet icon and tap the viewfinder in the top bar.
  2. Allow camera access when iOS asks, then point the camera at a public token-address QR you trust.
  3. After a code is read, the scanner closes and Oath opens asset Search with the scanned text.
  4. If the text identifies a supported token, review the result’s network and full contract or mint address before adding it.
  5. If scanning cannot start, check Camera permission in iOS Settings or paste the address into Wallet → Search.

The Home scanner fills asset search. It does not send a payment, approve a contract, connect a dApp or automatically open a scanned website.

Not every QR contains a token address. A receiving address, payment URI or unrelated text may produce no token result; copying a project’s exact token contract or mint address can help.

To import a recovery phrase, use the dedicated scan action inside Import wallet. Keep private recovery material out of Home search and support messages.
